Gord is a licenced Real Estate Broker who lives and works in Port Sydney, and is the returning President of the Chamber. Gord has lived in Port Sydney for over 30 years and has been actively involved with the Chamber forseven years. Gord is looking forward to continuing his role as President, and will work with the Board to continue, to promote businesses in the area and will actively seek new business members. Gord is looking forward to working with a great group of people who are committed to this Chamber and work extremely hard for this community

Mike is the returning Vice President of the Board. Mike has worked in the retail industry throughout Ontario for the past 14 years. As a graduate of Brock University with a Bachelors Degree in Sociology and Labour Relations, he is also the Ontario Member of the RONA Young Business Leaders Group that is made up of only 7 members from across Canada. Mike lives in Huntsville with his wife and family. Mike says he is looking forward to working with a great group of people who are committed to this Chamber and work extremely hard for the community.

Karen was a local resident of Port Sydney and now lives in Huntsville. She will be returning to the position of Secretary of the Chamber. Karen joined the Chamber five years ago as a volunteer to help out in the office. Karen very quickly became an important member of the Board and brought with her the knowledge of the area and the local community. Nothing is too much trouble for Karen and she picks up the slack in so many areas – helping in the office, shopping and more shopping! We are fortunate that she has agreed to remain as Secretary of the Board and we look forward to a continued relationship.

Patty has lived in Port Sydney for 43 years. She moved here when she was a young child and attended the old V.K. Greer Memorial Public School and then graduated from Huntsville High School. Patty started Butler Books in 2002 serving the Muskoka Area, offering on site bookkeeping, computer training, system set-up and income tax preparation. As well Patty is a certified Quick Books Pro Advisor. This busy lady is also a part time instructor at Georgian College, Muskoka Campus, and is a youth leader at the Riverside Baptist Church. Patty is also a guest instructor with the Women in Business Program, and is presently completing her Diploma Business Administration/Accounting from Georgian College. Glad to have you on board Patty.

Karen is stepping down from the position as Treasurer and three years of commitment and dedication to the job. This coming year will find her at the Board table in the capacity of Director. Karen is extremely committed to the Port Sydney and Utterson community and works hard to promote the members of the Chamber at all the Chamber events. We welcome Karen back to the position and look forward to another successful year.

Tom became a director of the Chamber four years ago and has been a welcome addition to the team. Tom has been the one to organize getting a BBQ for the beach area at both the winter carnival and the Canada Day event. He not only gets it donated for us but he delivers, sets up and returns it as well! Tom enjoys working with the Chamber team to promote the Port Sydney and Utterson area.

Frank Mann of Noveltymann has lived in Huntsville for the last 23 years. Frank & his wife, Linda, have two grown children and 4 grandchildren. Together they have successfully owned and operated two businesses in their time in Huntsville. Frank is happy to be part of the Port Sydney/Utterson Chamber of Commerce and is looking forward to working with everyone.

New to the Chamber this year, Maggie has been a Muskoka resident and community supporter for almost 25 years. She and her husband, John, moved to Port Sydney in 2010. Previously a small business owner, Maggie now enjoys her work as a Real Estate Broker & Accredited Senior Agent with Chestnut Park Real Estate Limited. She is looking forward to being of service to the Board and Chamber members throughout the coming year

Patrick was born and raised in Amsterdam (The Netherlands), moved in 2008 to Muskoka and now lives with his wife Denise and his three children in beautiful Port Sydney. Patrick has a background in real estate and tourism but found, in Health and Fitness, a life-long passion. Once settled in Muskoka he became a certified personal trainer specialist, older adult fitness specialist and fitness nutrition coach and started in April 2011. His successful facility in Port Sydney is called "In-home-personal-trainer.org". He trains clients in a one-on-one or group setting at their places or in his facility. Patrick is excited to be a member of the Chamber Board and looks forward to working with the Board and the community.
