The Port sydney Parks & Recreations Department and the Town of Huntsville are co-hosting this awe-inspiring event, with the sponsorship of numerous local businesses and groups. The MKT swim-bike-run fun challenge is open to kids young and not so young (ages 6-96)!

Saturday August 1, 2009 - Port Sydney Annual Regatta (rain date Sunday, August 3) 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Registration starts at 8.30 at Port Sydney Beach; swim races start at 9 a.m.; canoe races start at 1 p.m. Nominal fee will be charged. Join us for events new and old; swimming, canoeing, pie eating contest, sand sculptures, wakeboard demonstration, watermelon football, and much much more! Prizes, awards, refreshments, barbecue (11 a.m. - 3 p.m.) and most of all, fun, will be had by all! Sponsored by the Parks & Recreation Department.

Saturday, August 1, 2009 is the start of a busy weekend organized by the Stephenson District Lion's Club. Come on out to the Saturday night dance at the community hall. There is a BBQ and bar available all evening and there will be a dance after the show.
Sunday August 2, 2009 - Stephenson Lion's Club 8th Annual Duck Race - $5 per ticket - $2000 grand prize. Race starts at 2 p.m. Enjoy a BBQ 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. - at Indian Landing (finish line).
