BILL CHANTLER, Director
WENDY PATRIQUIN, Director
I came to Port Sydney from Niagara three years ago with my husband of 16 years, John, and children Zachary (15) and Allura (13). In Niagara I spent time operating my business, Patriquin Virtual Office (est. 1996), being involved in local politics as a City Councillor for the City of St. Catharines for 9 years, and was a foster parent (8 years)and volunteer driver (15 years) with Family & Childrens' Services Niagara.
I have continued to operate my business here in Port Sydney as Patriquin Virtual Office Muskoka, which supplies administrative support and bookkeeping services to small businesses. I am also a volunteer driver with Family Youth & Child Services Muskoka.
I appreciate the opportunity to serve as a member of the Port Sydney & Utterson Chamber of Commerce and look forward to the coming year in my new role as a Director.
SHARON BERRY, Director
Sharon came to Utterson from Caledon 18 months ago with her husband Tim. Sharon says it was time to leave city life behind and enjoy the peace of Muskoka. Sharon worked for many years in the health care field in Georgetown and here in Muskoka is volunteering her time for the Parry Sound Muskoka Early Years System.
TANYA AZZOPARDI, Director
Tanya came to Canada from Malta twenty years ago. She and her husband, Adrian, first visited Muskoka in 1989 and loved it so much that the family moved to Huntsville a year later in 1999. Tanya brings her business background experience from Malta and has become really involved in this community. She has been an active member and support of the winter Carnival Committee. Her particular love is cooking, baking and meeting people.
CHERYL GEERTSMA, Director
I moved to Huntsville with my husband and 2 daughters in 1997. Since living here we realize it takes alot of hard work to survive here. As challanging as it's been we truly love it here and are very happy we made the move.
I was a hairstylist until 2004; then changed my career to buying and selling homes and work for RE/MAX New Lifestyles Inc. Brokerage.
I enjoy talking/listening to a variety of different people and brainstorming for "new ideas". I'm excited to learn what its like to be a Director for the Port Sydney/Utterson and Area Chamber of Commerce.
